Today signet came up against a team that managed to beat them at home last season and they entered into this game taking nothing for granted. As expected, Corringham were strong and determined to give signet a run for thier money. It took a lot to break down corringham and several good chances went begging for both teams. However 5 minutes from the half time whistle Signet broke through and Alfie scored a great goal. The second half let Signet find thier feet and with good moves Signet controlled most of this half. Another oal from Alfie and one each for Jack Safoniou and Daniel meant the game was dead and buried. This was probably Signets toughest test so far and the score is a little harsh on Corringham in respect of thier first half performance.
